Man (44) beats stepfather (63) in critical condition in hospital in Knokke-Heist

The facts took place this afternoon in the Onderwijsstraat in Knokke-Heist. Around half past two there was a violent family quarrel. It just took place on the street, in front of the house where the victim lived with the mother of the suspect.

The discussion ran so high that the stepson severely beat up his stepfather. The 63-year-old man was taken to hospital in critical condition.

The stepson has been arrested.
