FC Barcelona will have to do without Raphinha for large parts of the crucial phase of the season. The Catalans confirmed this, citing medical tests carried out by the Brazilian Football Association. The 29-year-old attacker will be out for at least five weeks with a thigh injury.
In Brazil’s 2-1 loss to France on Thursday, Raphinha was substituted at half-time due to a thigh problem. Luiz Henrique came into the game in his place and prepared Bremer’s goal. With 27 goals in 31 appearances, he is one of the Catalans’ top performers. He will definitely miss both games in the Champions League quarter-finals against Atlético Madrid. It is hoped that he will return for the Clásico against Real Madrid on May 10th.
