Mercedes pilot Kimi Antonelli will start from the first row in the Japanese Grand Prix, the third race of the season in the Formula 1 World Championship tomorrow.
The qualifying rounds of the race, which will be run over 53 laps on the 5.8-kilometer track with the same name as the city of Suzuka, were held.
Mercedes’ 19-year-old Italian pilot Antonelli won his second consecutive pole position in Japan after China, with a time of 1 minute 28.778.
Antonelli’s teammate George Russell took the second place, 0.298 seconds behind him, and McLaren pilot Oscar Piastri took the third place with a difference of 0.354 seconds.
The Japanese Grand Prix will start tomorrow at 08.00 GMT.
