For the new season, VfB Stuttgart is strengthening with goalkeeper Stefan Drljaca (22). This is reported by both the “kicker” and the “Ruhr news“. The goalkeeper would be available on a free transfer as his contract with BVB ends. Drljaca has been active for the black and yellow since 2020, where he has only been used in the reserve so far. He took a seat on the bench several times with the pros.
This season, the native of Homburg has been between the posts in 13 games because regular goalkeeper Luca Unbehaun (21) was injured in the meantime. At VfB Stuttgart, Drljaca should be included in the professional squad and regular Florian Müller (24) should compete. Fabian Bredlow (27) and Florian Schock (20) currently complete the goalkeeper trio in Swabia. Both are under contract until 2024.
