The weekly videos in which Dries Roelvink makes meatballs on Wednesdays have earned him a deal with Jumbo. For years now you have been able to buy meatballs there with the folk singer’s head on the cellophane. Dries confirms that sales figures are still through the roof. “I just read that Dries Roelvink has already bought 11 million minced meat balls. Isn’t that special? They are delicious meatballs at Jumbo. 11 million!”, says Wilfred Genee.
