Harry Potter – the new television series based on the books will premiere in Christmas 2026 on the streaming service HBO Max. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone The first trailer for the first production season, which bears the name, has now been released.
During the first minute of the trailer, Finnish viewers caught the eye of a pair of familiar-looking scissors. In the scene, the Harry Potter character’s hair is cut with orange-tipped scissors.

The editors of Iltalehti received messages asking if it could be the orange-tipped scissors from the Finnish company Fiskars.
Iltalehti asked the Fiskars company about it.
– We can confirm that Fiskars’ iconic Orange scissors appear in the new Harry Potter series trailer. This is not a pre-agreed product placement, and Fiskars has not cooperated with the production of the series, says Fiskars’ communication.
It is a global brand whose products are widely sold around the world.
– We are happy about this visibility, because the visibility of classic scissors in the internationally expected series strengthens the recognition of our products.
– The company’s products have previously appeared occasionally in international productions through prop selections, but appearing in the trailer of the Harry Potter series is particularly positive.

The new TV series delves into the world of JK Rowling’s Harry Potter character more than the movies, at least if the latest trailer is to be believed. The trailer shows, among other things, Harry’s life at muggle school before he learns that he is a wizard.
