A remarkable pursuit in Aarle-Rixtel: two scooter thieves were caught by accident on Wednesday by boas of the environmental police. They fled on foot when the boas went to get their story.
The boas heard loud bangs and saw the two of them with their scooter. After a short chase, the thieves were caught. A firearm with a silencer and ammunition was found in a bag that the men had with them.
The scooter thieves have been arrested and the theft is being investigated further.
