The Dutch Juniors have started the European Championship qualifying series poorly with 5 points from the first four games and are in fourth place in group G. Norway is the leader with 9 points from three matches. Only the group winner qualifies directly for the 2027 European Championship in Albania and Serbia.
Three days after the meeting with the Norwegians, the Dutch Juniors will play a practice match against Young Belgium in Venlo.
