Linda Dallmann is a fixture at FC Bayern. And she is not the only professional player in her family who has already gained experience in the Bundesliga.
Linda Dallmann has been one of FC Bayern’s most influential players for years. The midfielder is not only a fixture in the club, but also established in the German national team. Her path in football is closely linked to her family, especially her two younger sisters Jule and Pauline, who have already played in the Bundesliga during their careers.
As one of seven children, Linda Dallmann grew up in North Rhine-Westphalia in a football-loving family and pursued the goal of becoming a professional footballer. Her two younger siblings, the twins Jule and Pauline, also followed a similar path at an early age. Both attracted attention in the youth sector and played in the German junior national team from U15 to U17.
Their further path led them together to what was then 1. FFC Frankfurt, today’s Eintracht Frankfurt. In 2015, the twins moved to the then second division club Borussia Mönchengladbach. There they managed to get promoted to the Bundesliga. They were very much based on their big sister. They “always learned a lot from Linda,” they once explained. Even as children it was “the best thing” to be on the pitch with Linda Dallmann.
In the 2018/19 season, their footballing paths diverged: While Pauline stayed with Borussia, Jules’ path led back to SGS Essen. However, just a year later they reunited at regional league club VfR Warbeyen. As top performers, they played a large part in promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga before moving together to FC Schalke 04 in the Westphalia League in 2025.
The close contact within the family has remained. Despite the spatial distance caused by her time in Munich, Linda Dallmann is in regular contact with her siblings and there is an “almost daily” exchange.
Dallmann has been playing at FC Bayern since 2019. In mid-March 2026, she extended her contract for another year. Four championships, two Supercup victories and the DFB Cup triumph in 2024/25 are among her successes with the Munich team so far. Another championship trophy could be added this year. After 20 match days, Bayern are undisputed at the top of the Bundesliga table with an eleven point lead.
