The UEFA Disciplinary Committee imposed an away spectator ban on the yellow-dark blue club for the next European match due to the incidents that occurred in the UEFA Europa League last 16 play-off round rematch between Fenerbahçe and England’s Nottingham Forest.
In the statement made by UEFA, it was stated that Fenerbahçe was not allowed to allow spectators in the next European match and was fined 30 thousand euros due to the incidents that occurred during the match played at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground Stadium.
The statement also stated that Fenerbahçe was fined 20 thousand 500 euros for the damage caused to the stadium, and said: “It was decided to contact Nottingham Forest within 30 days from the notification of this decision in order to compensate for the damages caused by Fenerbahçe fans (the cost of the damaged seats).” It was said.
