Fenerbahçe attracted attention with the statement it published through its official channels. With its statement, the yellow-dark blue club reacted to the unfounded allegations and “organized manipulation attempts” circulated about the club on social media.
HERE IS THAT EXPLANATION
“We have been carefully following the false claims, distorted information and organized manipulation attempts that have been systematically circulated through social media platforms recently.
Legal processes have been initiated regarding false accusations and slanders, which were prepared almost by one hand and put on the agenda in an organized manner; Criminal complaints have begun to be filed against the relevant persons and accounts.
The process against these people who harmed our club will be continued with determination.
As Fenerbahçe Board of Directors; We are aware that the decisions taken and steps taken in sports are open to interpretation and can be criticized when necessary.
Every sincerely shared comment and criticism from our members and fans is indispensable and valuable to us.
In this regard, we always make our own evaluations and self-criticism.
Together with our community, we strongly feel and understand the emotion created by the recent successive field results of our Football Team.
We carry the responsibility for this on our shoulders.
We never shy away from addressing every issue that needs to be discussed clearly and on the right basis.
However, it is clear that this environment, where false, manipulative content originating from a single center is brought to the agenda through unidentified fake accounts, and the same content is conveyed to the public in a coordinated manner by some people through various media organs, creates an unhealthy and damaging atmosphere for Fenerbahçe.
We believe that our esteemed congress members and supporters will be more careful and prudent than ever against these allegations, slanders and manipulations that have no source or basis.
Any attempt to direct the agenda or influence our community through lies, mistakes and slander through social media has no counterpart in Fenerbahçe; It is clear that these methods will not produce results.
Fenerbahçe’s agenda is not based on the perceptions that are tried to be created in different media; It is determined by the realities of our club and the will of our community.
All topics regarding our club’s agenda will be discussed comprehensively at our Supreme Council Board Meeting to be held in April.
