Tottenham are apparently considering a last, desperate idea to avoid going to the bottom: convincing Roberto De Zerbi to accept the bench. Immediately, according to the English press, already in time for the next Premier League match, on April 12th away to Sunderland (here is the standings). The Italian’s name, stuck after the end of his adventure in Marseille, would be at the top of Spurs’ list of preferences for next season, assuming they manage to avoid relegation which in 2026 has gone from a hypothesis not even considered to a concrete risk. Since things are not going well with Igor Tudor, chosen on February 14th in place of Thomas Frank, the management is apparently considering a new change of bench.
