He was silent for a few days – then Fahri Yardım spoke up about the allegations that Collien Fernandes made against her ex-partner Christian Ulmen.
The “Jerks” star published a statement on Instagram on Sunday evening (March 22) about the allegations made public by Ulmen’s ex-wife Collien Fernandes. “So. Late. Incomplete. I’m as shocked as many others,” writes Yardım. Further: “I admire Collien’s courage. I am grateful for the support she receives. I feel for her. However, the “Jerks” star received a lot of criticism for his detailed statement on the matter. Some praise him for his courage, others accuse him of having the text written by an AI – because of the many empty words. “Formulations like ’emancipatory movements’, ‘normative attitude’ or ‘structural change’ are standard building blocks of modern language models. If you tell an AI: ‘Write a critical statement in the style of a sociology student’, that’s exactly what would come out of it,” claims one follower.
Actress Rosalie Thomass writes with reference to Ulmen: “If the public and personal levels are not in competition for you, then you could ask him in a friendly way to at least make public the names of the buyers of his products. On Monday evening (March 23rd), Fahri Yardım spoke up again in the same Instagram post – with a clear choice of words: “Feel free to unload! As long as it’s not a rude insult or an insinuation of the worst kind of shit, I’ll leave everything alone.”
He doesn’t only receive support for this either. “If you had written something relevant with backbone in all the words then the reactions would be different. Your friend made really bad shit and you would have called it better than that,” writes one user.
Another reaction: “Your irony can get the better of you. The least you can expect from someone (who actually knows a lot about the media!) is that he at least doesn’t portray himself as a victim, but rather has the backbone to name what disgusting shit his friend has built. There are numerous other friends and colleagues of Ulmen who have managed to do that. Maybe you too at some point..”
