The king of the tracks shows no mercy.
Johannes Klæbo revealed by the US media In an interview with NBCthat he might continue his career even until the 2034 Olympics.
The Norwegian star has a special reason for looking back eight years. The Olympics will be held in 2034 in the US state of Utah, a place Klæbo is familiar with.
In recent years, the Olympic champion has organized his own high-altitude camps in Park City, Utah. His credit physical therapist Megan Rowlands Stowe on the other hand, lives near Soldier Hollow, where the Olympic cross-country skiing will be held eight years from now.
Klæbo would be 37 years old at the time of the Utah Olympics.
– I have discussed with my physiotherapist that if we can do everything right with my body and I have enough motivation, that [kilpaileminen] may be possible. However, there is still a long way to go, the skier said.

Klæbo is sure that he plans to continue at least until the 2030 Olympics in France. His goal is to compete again in all six trips.
The tactic was a success at the Milan-Cortina Games, as six golds were taken home.
– The older I get, the more difficult it will probably be in sprinting. Young skiers are coming. They give me pressure.
The Norwegian star has already started planning for next season.
– In the spring, I have to think about what my next goal is. I need to find new motivation. The good thing is that I still enjoy winning and competing in World Cups. That’s a good start.
Klæbo has won the overall World Cup six times now. This season, he also celebrated cup victories in standard distances and sprints.
