Side sharing is back. A few years ago, the side parting was condemned to the bane of hairstyles, and many moved their parting to the middle to keep their hairstyle current. Now the distribution barometer has jumped again. Several media outlets declare that side sharing is back. Among other things, The New York Times magazine wrote in February that side parting has again been seen in the hairstyles of the world’s most followed style idols. The parting started to fade from the middle to the side already last year, but on the red carpets of the beginning of the year, you could already see several side partings at the Grammy and Oscar galas.
