“’Keppie, you are also on fire’, she shouted”: Tiffany (31) dies after a flash from defective mobile air conditioning, friend Brian (34) testifies

Brian Vierstraete (34) from Wervik in West Flanders is a broken man. On Wednesday he risked his own life to save that of Tiffany, the woman he had been with for almost 3 years. A huge flash fire on a mobile air conditioner in their living room was merciless for Tiffany. “He put her in the bath upstairs and sprinkled her with lukewarm water,” says Brian’s mother. “They actually said goodbye to each other there.”
