The reunited alternative rock band Dogstar with actor Keanu Reeves on bass have announced their new album “All in Now” – the band’s second LP since their return in 2023 after a twenty-year hiatus.
Ahead of the release of Dogstar’s fourth studio album on May 29, the band has shared the video for first single and title track “All in Now” and announced a US summer tour in support of the album.
Reeves and his Dogstar bandmates — drummer Robert Mailhouse (also an actor who famously appeared on “Seinfeld”) and guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose — had reunited in 2023 for their first shows since 2002, which they quickly followed with “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees,” their first new album since 2000’s “Happy Ending.”
Reeves on the studio comeback
While Reeves spent much of 2025 filming new projects from Ruben Östlund and Jonah Hill and making his Broadway debut with his “Bill & Ted” co-star Alex Winter in “Waiting for Godot,” the actor and bassist couldn’t wait to reunite with his Dogstar bandmates in the studio with producer Nick Launay and continue the reunion.
“We bloody could not Wait and see,” Reeves said in a statement. “Personally, I have everything loved. My attitude was, ‘Let’s work hard and let’s go.'” Mailhouse added: “The album really showcases the energy at the heart of this album – and the fun we have always had while playing together.”
Dogstar will play two shows in California to coincide with the release of All in Now before the band embarks on a European tour and returns to the US on August 1st for a North American leg starting in Austin, Texas and running through September 3rd.
