Provocative tour start: Lily Allen wears a dress on stage with bills from David Harbor for his affairs. The story behind the spectacular outfit.
As 2025 began, it became clear that the marriage between singer Lily Allen and Stranger Things star David Harbor was over. The couple got married in 2020; After four years, the marriage ended in a crisis, which is said to have been primarily characterized by infidelity on the part of the actor.
After the couple parted ways, David Harbor repeatedly attracted attention for his misbehavior, and Lily Allen released her latest album, “West End Girl,” in which she publicly settled accounts with her ex-husband. Now she came up with a new, creative and biting tip against him.
Bills for lovers as a dress
On Monday March 2nd, 2026, Lily Allen kicked off her West End Girl tour at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow. It is no longer a secret that the album is about coming to terms with her divorce from David Harbor and at the same time a reckoning with him. At the first appearance of her tour, however, she didn’t let up and went one better to crown her public reckoning with the actor.
The artist wore a very special dress while performing her song “4 Chan Stan”. There was a long piece of material hanging from the dress, which on the one hand had song lines on it and on the other hand – and this was even more important – some of the bills that David Harbor had paid for his love interests during their marriage. These included statements from various tequila bars and from the luxury department store Bergdorf Goodman. During the marriage, the singer found out that her ex-partner had bought an expensive handbag for another woman there.
Outfits tell the album story
The outfit statement was created by Mel Ottenberg. The American also announced in advance on Instagram: The singer “brought me out of retirement as a tour stylist 20 years after I first styled her.”
The 40-year-old performed all 14 songs from the breakup album, wearing six outfits – each meant to symbolize a chapter of the album’s narrative. From a black leather dress to dark red shorts to an underwear look, everything was there.
