In this framework, Caparrós drew a parallel between the Argentine president and the American political leader donald trumpwhom he placed within the same political logic.
“The two great leaders that affect you and all of us are two very stupid gentlemen: Trump and Milei. Two very unsophisticated gentlemen who do nothing but talk nonsense,” he said.
The harshest criticism was reserved for the Argentine case. “The problem of the Milei case is particularly offensive because it is humiliating to have someone so stupid ruling you. “It speaks very badly about your country, your people and yourself,” he said.
Caparrós added that, unlike what happens in the United States, where Trump’s impact is considered mainly global, the Argentine situation has a more direct symbolic component for local society. “But in the case of Trump, it is very dangerous for the world,” he concluded.
The statements add to a long tradition of critical positions by the writer towards different governments and contemporary political phenomena, although the tone of his words generated an impact on social networks due to their frontal character and without nuances.
