(toskanews) — After the debut at the Accor Arena in Paris and the participation as an international super guest at the Sanremo Festival 40 years after the victory with Now you and world premiere performance alongside Alicia Keys with The dawn, Eros Ramazzotti also won over the 12,000 spectators at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen with a sold out stage of An important world tour story / An important world tour history. Eros Ramazzotti wanted to dedicate the March 4th show in Denmark to Lucio Dalla on the birthday of the great Bolognese artist.
Eros Ramazzotti’s new live journey, 71 dates and already 715,000 tickets soldreaches 30 countries across Europe, North America-Canada and Latin America. Produced by RadioRama and distributed by Friends & Partners and Eventim Live International, the tour which has collected numerous sold outs, from 6 June will also see the highly anticipated return of the artist to Italian stadiums (the dates in Udine, Naples and Bari have already sold out).
Two uninterrupted hours of internationally produced shows, which take shape on a stage designed to make the most of the live dimension and create a direct dialogue with the public. In the setlist, in addition to Ramazzotti’s timeless hits, some of the unreleased extracts from the new album An Important Story / An Important Historyincluding Like in the movies feat. Max Pezzali presented live for the first time in Copenhagen. Pezzali surprisingly joined his friend and colleague on the Royal Arena stage for a unique and engaging moment that made the evening even more special. The new single Like in the movies will be in radio rotation from Friday 13 March.
«Playing with Max was a great pleasure. It’s one of the first duets we recorded and I’m really happy to have sung it here in Copenhagen for the first time live with him”, says Eros Ramazzotti.
«Eros is a crazy singer, an extraordinary artist and a very generous person. He had already invited me years ago to share the stage with him in Germany during his European tour in 2001, but Returning to sing together was truly a great emotion», says Max Pezzali.
Eros Ramazzotti is accompanied by an exceptional band: Luca Scarpa on musical direction and keyboards together with Christian Rigano, Brian Frasier Moore on drums, Paolo Costa on bass, Giorgio Secco and Antonio Cirigliano on guitars, Ramon Montagner on percussion, Marco Scipione on saxophones, Alessandro Lopane on guitar and backing vocals, Monica Hill, Zoe Ranno and Sara Deop on backing vocals.
«The stage has a shape that may recall a scorpion, or even the symbol of DNA and was designed to create a strong connection between me and the audience. But the thing I’m most proud of is my band: together we have a beautiful journey ahead of us. We have already done 10 dates and another 61 stages are planned which, combined with those of leg 2027, they will reach 84», says Eros Ramazzotti.
Ramazzotti announced i first new appointments which will see him return to Europe also in 2027: in less than a year An important world tour story / An important world tour history it will return to some already visited venues (Brussels, Amsterdam, Munich, Zurich, Barcelona) and will reach new cities (Luxembourg, Düsseldorf, Hannover, Mannheim, Grenoble, Montpellier, Pamplona and Valencia).
