Vocalist Suvi Teräsniska announced the Evening Songs church tour at the beginning of the year, which was supposed to be an atmospheric tour of 19 locations. However, the tickets haven’t sold, so the tour will be shortened to a few shows in April and May.
The artist tells about it in his Instagram update.
– Ski holiday greetings from Kolar! I regret to inform you that we have to shorten the Iltalauluja tour at this point due to weak advance sales, writes Suvi Teräsniska.
– I am actually in this situation for the first time in my entire career and of course it hurts, but I want to be honest with the situation and the audience, he continues.
The singer states that the estimate of ticket sales was too optimistic.
– We boldly set out to try taking Evening Songs to churches. The time was not right for a big tour, but the good news is that we will be able to give you five wonderful concerts in Porvoo, Vantaa, Helsinki, Tampere and Oulu, he says.
