Is having a strong season

With Luis Díaz (29) and Serge Gnabry (30), FC Bayern has two experienced professionals for the offensive positions behind the top and three young and highly talented ones in Jamal Musiala (23), Michael Olise (24) and Lennart Karl (18). Everyone is contractually bound until at least 2028 and yet the Munich-based company is apparently watching the market. National player Kevin Schade from Brentford FC is a player in whom the record champions have expressed fundamental interest to the advisory team. “Bild” confirms a corresponding “Sky” report.

The 24-year-old left winger, who also plays in the nine position for the Bees, is well on his way to surpassing the best season of his career so far. Last year, the former Freiburg player scored eleven goals (two assists) in 38 Premier League games. This season he has already scored seven goals and three assists in 26 league games. This is one of the reasons why Schade was back in national coach Julian Nagelsmann’s squad in November for the first time since October 2024.
It’s a shame that he’s settled in Brentford, no wonder the Londoners don’t actually want to sell him. In view of his contract, which runs until 2028, the rumored demand of 70 million euros is probably more of a deterrent. His market value is currently 35 million euros, but an increase by the end of the season, especially with a World Cup nomination, is not unlikely.
Will FC Bayern wave it off? It’s a shame that the transfer fee should cost Woltemade level
Last summer, Nick Woltemade (24) moved from VfB Stuttgart to Newcastle for a similar sum, 75 million euros. After weeks of poker, Bayern waved it off. According to “Bild”, it is at least questionable that things would be different for Schade. The Potsdam native’s advisors are also offering him in the Premier League, for example at Tottenham Hotspur, which is threatened with relegation, and at Chelsea FC, which is not very reluctant to pay on the transfer market.
However, in the Transfermarkt rumor mill, user “jp_91” notes: “Didn’t Bayern just spend 70 million euros on Díaz last summer? So for a player that they are 100 percent convinced of, Bayern are prepared to spend a lot of money.” Nevertheless, “jp_91” is not convinced by the rumor: “He’s probably already on the list somehow, but I don’t think that a transfer of Schade is a top priority. Especially since they already have a great talent for left wing in Wisdom Mike, who will hopefully get more playing time from next season at the latest.”
