A 23-year-old motorcyclist from Oss had an accident on the A59 at the Empel junction on Friday morning. The man was taking driving lessons and crashed in a bend. It is not yet known how serious the man’s injuries are. An air ambulance has landed on the highway.
When the motorcyclist crashed, there was also a piece of wood on the road. It is not clear whether the man also hit the block. The police are currently investigating.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road in the direction of Eindhoven is closed. There is still a traffic jam there at the moment.
