What makes this especially burdensome is that Aston Martin is not a small garage. Lawrence Stroll has poured hundreds of millions of euros into his F1 project. There’s Adrian Newey, Fernando Alonso, Andy Cowell and Bob Bell. These are Honda’s previously proven machines. There is a brand new factory and a modern wind tunnel.
This season was invested in years ago. The 2026 season was supposed to raise Aston Martin and Fernando Alonso as winners.
Now you can’t even get to the track. Shame on you.
