Ylex radio host Jenni Poikelus38, is pregnant. Poikelus told about it on Friday Ylex Aamu’s live radio broadcast.
In the same broadcast, the presenters announced that Ylex Aamu in its current form will end in May. Up until now, Ylex Morning has been hosted by Jere Pehkonen and Poikelus Mika Parikka.
Poikelus introduced the news on the broadcast by explaining that there are private matters, such as relationships, which they have not met to talk about on broadcasts. Poikelus has not previously announced his relationship or partner in public.
– Let this serve as a primer for the next thing, which you might want to keep private, but because this is something that will be seen and heard and affect the lives of all of us in this studio. However, I want to tell it myself before speculating gossipers and others, he explained.
– Let it be said that I am going to be a mother, Poikelus revealed.
Pehkonen and Parikka, co-hosts of Poikelus, started cheering. However, they already knew the news.
Poikelus also showed his stomach to the studio cameras, after which the presenters announced that there are four of them in the radio studio.
– This has popped up in this very short time and this whole thing has popped up into life. Let it be said that the magician himself was surprised.
– If everything goes well and as it should now, I’ll be a mom in the summer. Life surprises us sometimes, and now it surprised us like this, Poikelus said.
Poikelus updated that he never thought he would announce his pregnancy on Ylex’s broadcast. He has already worked at the channel for 14 years.

Later, Poikelus also published a picture of himself on Instagram, where he poses with his hand on his stomach. In addition, a sample of the ultrasound image was attached to the publication.

Ylex Morning changes
With the pregnancy news, there will be changes at Ylex Aamu, as Poikelus will naturally be on parental leave.
The trio of presenters said in the broadcast that this also means that Ylex Aamu with its current composition will end this spring. The channel’s new morning program is being planned, the presenters and more detailed details of which will be revealed later.
– Let’s just say that this is everyone’s joint decision. We all agree on this, which is actually quite wonderful, says Parikka.
Poikelus, Pehkonen and Parika’s last joint broadcast will arrive on May 29.
