DJE Kapital AG draws a positive balance for 2025. Last year, the company achieved the second-best result since it was founded over 50 years ago.

The drivers were pleasing investment results in the various fund strategies and the development of asset management.

Performance as the basis for successful business development

The risk-adjusted performance of the core products formed the foundation. In this way, the balanced mixed fund was able toDJE – Interest & Dividend‘ in the year of its 15th anniversary confirm its role as a stable building block in asset allocation. For this he was awarded the German and Austrian Fund Prize in 2025. The offensive mixed fund ‘FMM Fund‘ again performed above average within its peer group in 2025.

Against the background of these investment results, Dr. Jan Ehrhardt, board member of DJE Kapital AG, at the beginning of last year as ‘Fund Manager of the Year 2025‘ excellent.

The DJE asset management was able to do the same as the funds last year in terms of risk-return ratios. The quality of the investment strategies and processes was awarded the top grade of ‘summa cum laude’ in the Elite Report 2026 for the 22nd time in a row.

2025 was a very good year for DJE. The results show that our long-term investment approach and our established processes work even in a challenging market environment“, comments Dr. Jan Ehrhardt looking back.

New management team focused on the future

In 2025, DJE Kapital also set the structural course for the future. Following the planned departure of long-time board member Thorsten Schrieber, Christian Janas, previously responsible for asset management on the board, will take over Schrieber’s business areas on April 1, 2026. As a result, support and sales across all customer groups will be bundled under his leadership. In addition to synergies, the merger is intended to enable advantages in customer service. Janas, who has a degree in business administration and has been working at the company since 2019, has more than three decades of experience in the asset management industry, both on the fund conception side and in the area of marketing and customer-oriented solutions. With its internal succession planning, DJE relies on continuity, experience and familiarity with existing structures and products.

At the same time, DJE introduced an eight-person partner group last year, thereby specifically expanding the company’s management team. Experienced managers from different areas were given additional responsibility. The aim is to further strengthen decision-making processes, to anchor tasks more broadly and to position the organization for the long term.

The Board of Directors, together with the extended management team, is looking forward with confidence. Today we are positioned in such a way that we can meet our quality standards in the long term“, explains Dr. Jan Ehrhardt about the changes in the management team.

Outlook 2026

Not least thanks to the successful setting of the course, DJE was able to report a new record right at the start of 2026: assets under management reached a new all-time high in January at a good 17.5 billion euros. Very good stock selection in particular has enabled most DJE funds and asset management to have a successful start to 2026.

For 2026, DJE also expects impulses in the area of private pension provision in Germany. Against the background of demographic developments and political reform considerations, capital market-based provision is becoming increasingly important.

Private pension provision will play a significantly greater role for the fund industry in the future. The need for long-term, professionally managed solutions is growing – and the urgency of promoting high-yield products is increasingly becoming a political focus. We are prepared for this at DJE” says Christian Janas.
