The Eisbären Berlin have once again caused excitement in the race for the last quarter-final ticket for the playoffs of the German Ice Hockey League.

The Polar Bears Berlin have once again created excitement in the race for the last quarter-final ticket for the playoffs of the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).

The champions won against the relegated Dresdner Eislöwen 5:2 (2:1, 1:1, 2:0) and are now only one point behind the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven, who lost to the Straubing Tigers at home 1:3 (1:1, 0:1, 0:1).

Eder and Müller put polar bears on the road to victory

Bremerhaven (74 points) is in sixth place four game days before the end of the main round, Berlin (73) is seventh. The first five teams in the table have already qualified for the quarter-finals.

Andreas Eder (48th/4:2) and Jonas Müller (49th/5:2) made everything clear for the Eisbären with a double strike in Dresden.
