In a sold-out Taliercio, the orogranatas win 63-51 and in Zaragoza they will play the quarter-finals against Girona
Reyer Venezia is in the Euroleague Final Six for the first time. This is the verdict of a very tense Italian derby in game 3 against long-time rival Schio, one of the greats in Europe. The match, in a sold out Taliercio, was dominated by a lot of tension on the part of both teams, especially at the start of the match. Reyer was rewarded for playing more as a team, especially showing great defensive organization (18 points from steals) which held her opponents to just 51 points scored. Charles (12), Dojkic (15) and Pan (11) were the liveliest in attack, while Schio had 16 points from Shepard, the only one in double figures, and 7 points and 3 assists from Sottana, who didn’t want to give up in his last Euroleague game of a great career.

Reyer was ahead for almost the entire match, which Schio put back on its feet with pride and temperament, returning to level from -13. At 50-50 with 4′ to go, Reyer was mentally tough to restart after being caught: above all she put on the field a great defense: 9-0 partial in the final, with two decisive offensive rebounds from Charles. The Final Six will be from 15 to 19 April in Zaragoza and Venice will play against Girona on the 15th, with Fenerbahce waiting for the winner in the semi-final. On the other side of the table, Landes and Zaragoza will compete to reach Galatasaray. For the Italians from Schio and Venice there will be little time to catch their breath: tomorrow the national team will meet in Rome and will be involved from 11 to 17 March in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the qualifiers for the World Cup in September.
