The new charges are being discussed in the ongoing trial against Marius. Dozens of charges have already been brought against Marius for, among other things, rape, assault and sexual harassment.

According to VG, the alleged crimes took place at Marius’ apartment the weekend before the trial. Neighbors have reported hearing a loud bang and a door slamming from the apartment.

The alleged victim is the so-called Frogner woman, in connection with whom Marius has already been accused of several crimes. The two were in an intimate relationship when Marius was first arrested in August 2024.

According to the indictment, Marius had shouted swear words at the woman, broken her phone and grabbed her when she tried to leave the apartment, as a result of which she hit her head on the door.

According to the indictment, Marius had a knife and threatened to harm himself and threatened the woman so that she would not contact the police.

The following evening, the police arrested Marius at the hospital and he has been incarcerated ever since.

The indictment states that, in addition to this, Marius has been in “regular contact” with the woman from mid-December to early February, despite the restraining order.

Iltalehti reported on February 2 that Marius had been imprisoned. The court decided to keep Marius imprisoned for four weeks due to the risk of repeating the crime.

– The Oslo Police District can confirm that the police arrested Marius Borg Høiby on Sunday evening on suspicion of assault, threatening with a knife and violating a restraining order, confirms Andreas Kruszewski Oslo police in a press release according to Dagbladet.

That same evening, Marius’ mother Crown Princess Mette-Marit, stepfather Crown Prince Haakon and half-sister princess Ingrid Alexandra was filmed visiting Marius in the hospital.

The trial began on February 3 and is scheduled to continue until March 19. Originally, 38 charges had been brought against Marius.

  • Driving a vehicle without a license (Marius admits his guilt)
  • Serious drug offense (Marius pleads guilty)

On March 3, new charges were read to Marius for harassment and violating a restraining order.
