In the jungle it was one of the quieter, almost casual stories: Gil Ofarim explained in the few moments in which he wanted to talk about himself that yoga had had a strong influence on his life. He is said to have even once considered starting training to become a yoga teacher. Now, a few weeks after his appearance on “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!”, a suitable advertising partner even seems to have come knocking on the door of the Jungle King 2026.

Gil Ofarim: Yoga poses for a protein powder manufacturer

In one Post on Instagram Gil Ofarim advertises a Swiss manufacturer’s protein powder. In the video he does a few yoga poses, mixes himself a shake and drinks it in front of the camera. He also announces a competition in the video description. A classic influencer setup that should bring the musician some additional income.

Gil Ofarim also used breathing exercises and routines to calm himself down in the camp. Yoga as an alternative to the “rock’n’roll lifestyle” is nothing unusual at first glance. And the fact that the musician is now using his popularity as a jungle crown wearer to land advertising deals does not seem to contradict the image he has previously embodied as an artist far removed from reality shows.

In the camp, the musician appeared to be grounded, reflective and controlled, but he also repeatedly made it clear that he was above things – for example, by commenting on arguments that seemed too cheap to him with a meaningful “Mein RTL” into the camera. However, he seems to have copied the basics of influencer marketing from his colleagues.

Competitions are okay – but media reports about Ofarim aren’t?

Recently, Gil Ofarim was also upset about the media that reported on him: “Headlines are headlines, clickbaiting is clickbaiting. If there’s a crass headline somewhere, they just want you to click on that article.” Ofarim says the articles often have nothing to do with the headlines themselves – that’s just how the system works in the age of social media.
