At its core, the NFL Combine is about football. And of course it’s also about personalities. However, what wide receiver KC Concepcion experienced shouldn’t belong at the combine or anywhere at all. The youngster is now defending himself against some who can safely be described as idiots.
Because Concepcion had shown the courage to face the press. And that despite the fact that he has had a speech impediment and stutters since he was a child. So far no problem, at least it shouldn’t be. However, some Internet users made fun of the Texas A&M wide receiver. He responded to this with a detailed statement on Instagram.
“I just want to say something: If you have a speech impediment, then there is nothing wrong with you. I have stuttered for as long as I can remember. It is a part of me, it is me. I cannot control it. I want to be a role model for those who may be afraid to raise their voices, who may be scared and not confident. I stand by your side,” the passport recipient begins his emotional statement.
“This weekend taught me a lot about myself and about the people out here in this world. I appreciate everyone who supported me and reached out to me after these interviews. Don’t let the thoughts and opinions of outsiders stop you from being great or achieving something in life. I’m blessed to be in the position I’m in and I want to give back and help those who are afraid to speak up and aren’t as confident. I stand by you, I always will “We are different for a reason. God has blessed my life in ways I could never have imagined. I love you all and support you as we climb this mountain together.”

NFL: Concepcion candidate in Buffalo?
In addition to his strong convictions, the wide receiver also makes a good impression in terms of sport. It’s not for nothing that he’s ranked 31st on his big board in “PFF.” He also made a good impression at the combine.
He may now be considered as the new wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills. He reportedly had a good exchange with the Bills during the combine. Fittingly, the pass receiver is from the area and explained that his father was a big Bills fan.
Maybe they’ll find each other in the NFL Draft.
