A handball player’s honeymoon turned into a tragedy.

The incident had a tragic timing, as Herseth died of a heart attack while on his honeymoon in the Philippines.
According to Dagbladet, the sad news has touched the handball community in the fjord region.
– Benjamin was always a team player and always gave one hundred percent to everything he did. He was well liked on the handball courts and in his work at Heiskompaniet, father Erik Herseth wrote to a Norwegian newspaper.
The player who represented Follo HK reached the Norwegian junior national team in 2015.
