A magnificent film, the last title of a trilogy by the German director who, after Nina Hoss, finds the perfect actress in Paula Beer. Two heroines (Barbara Auer as the mother on the edge of madness is priceless) at the center of an abysmal mystery.
Time is suspended as in a fairy tale, absence exerts its enormous power. There are few who can handle such material with such elegance.
