At CAS RC they have consciously chosen to work with the young Wierenga. “We wanted someone with more continuity and someone who could stay at the club longer,” explains chairman Karsten Pronk. “Bart was the perfect candidate for us.”
Sleepless nights and a lot of frustration
Despite a multi-year plan and focus on the future, Wierenga admits that the poorer results are really bothering him. “Sleepless nights and a lot of frustration. Also panic. Because I can no longer do it myself. I really want those boys to do well. I love them all, because they are good guys.”
