Yle forgot the effervescence of the winners.
An embarrassing blunder was seen at the press conference of the winners of the new music competition, Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen.
Linda and Pete arrived at the press conference with a happy air.
After sitting down at the table, Pete noticed that there was no sparkling wine for them at all.
Normally, regardless of the sport and the occasion, the winners are always offered sparkling wine. It is either written, as in F1, or an unwritten rule.
This time the sparkling was missing for some reason.
– May I ask one question, Pete asked.
– Shall we have champagne?
