Someone was injured in a stabbing in the Zuyder Bos penitentiary on Copernicusstraat in Heerhugowaard this afternoon. It is not yet known whether it is a prisoner or guard.
The emergency services received the report around 3:30 p.m. A police spokesperson says the investigation is in full swing.
An air ambulance and a mobile medical team have been deployed, among other things.
