Big names fail to achieve the best time in Soldeu. Then Emma Aicher comes along – and trumps everyone.
Triumph for Emma Aicher in the Ski World Cup: The 22-year-old ski racer won the Super-G in Soldeu (Andorra) on Saturday and clearly distanced herself from well-known competition.
Aicher set a clear best time of 1:26.72 minutes, well ahead of second-placed Alice Robinson (New Zealand / 1:27.60). The Swiss Corinne Suter came third (1:27.70). It is her fifth victory in the World Cup, her second this season.
