On February 20, a 19-year-old man was arrested after a short chase. He had 55 grams of heroin and 1 gram of cocaine with him. At the decision of the West Flanders Public Prosecutor’s Office, he was arrested by the investigating judge in Bruges. The council chamber later decided on electronic monitoring.
On February 22, another minor was arrested. He had two mobile phones and ten bags of heroin with him and was placed in a closed institution by the juvenile judge.
The Ostend police warns: actions against drug trafficking and nuisance will continue.
