Three German teams are still represented in the round of 16 of the Europa League and Conference League. The Bundesliga clubs VfB Stuttgart, SC Freiburg and FSV Mainz are looking forward to Nyon with excitement. The lots will be drawn there from 1 p.m. sport.de shows the draw LIVE in the stream.

On Thursday, VfB Stuttgart became the second German team to make it to the round of 16 of the Europa League. Despite a bitter 0-1 home defeat against Celtic Glasgow, the Swabians are in a European round of 16 for the first time in 13 years.
In the round of 16 draw, the eight winners from the knockout phase playoffs will join the eight teams that qualified directly from the league phase in all three competitions. The best eight teams from the league phase are seeded for the round of 16 draw and generally have home advantage in the second leg.
There are no restrictions regarding the possible pairing of two teams from the same national association. Teams can also face opponents they have already played against in the league phase. There are exactly two options in the draw for all 16 remaining teams.
VfB Stuttgart is heading to Portugal. VfB Stuttgart was drawn against FC Porto as their opponent in the round of 16.
As seventh place in the league phase, SC Freiburg had already qualified for the round of the best 16. The Breisgauers meet KRC Genk.
The draw for the Conference League will take place at 2 p.m. The German team FSV Mainz is represented there. For Rheinhessen, the options are Crystal Palace and Sigma Olomouc.

The round of 16 games will take place on 11/12. and March 19th. The respective winners reach the quarter-finals, which take place on April 9th and 16th. The semi-finals are scheduled for April 30th and May 7th.
The final of the Europa League will take place on May 20th in Istanbul, the final of the Conference League will take place on May 27th in Leipzig.
