Eight ÖSV athletes there
Eight combined athletes from the ÖSV are registered for the home World Cup at Kulm. In addition to the overall World Cup leader Johannes Lamparter (start number 30), the two Olympic athletes Stefan (26) and Thomas Rettenegger (25) are also there again. Franz-Josef Rehrl (17) also wants to get back into the top 10, like in the test round. Martin Fritz (18) is still having a bit of a hard time with the jump. Lukas Greiderer (13), Junior World Champion Paul Walcher (12) and Florian Kolb (7) also want to show off.

Seven Germans at the start
There are only 30 athletes taking part in ski flying. Seven combined athletes are registered by the German Ski Association. With number ten, Simon Mach is the first German to leave the jump. This is followed by David Mach (14), Richard Stenzel (15) and Wendelin Thannheimer (21). Vinzenz Geiger (22), Johannes Rydzek (23) and Julian Schmid (28) are then among the top 10 of the World Cup.

Hello and welcome to a premiere in Nordic combined. For the first time in history, the Nordic Combined athletes will be ski flying. The athletes will first fly from the ski jump at Kulm and then run 7.5 kilometers in the Individual Compact Race later in the afternoon.
