Aleksandar Pavlović sees his long-term future at FC Bayern Munich. Before the big game against Dortmund, he is self-confident and motivated.
Aleksandar Pavlović is living his “childhood dream” at FC Bayern Munich and can imagine a long-term future at the club. His contract runs until 2029 and he feels comfortable there. “I don’t know anything other than FC Bayern. If everything goes the way we want here, there is no reason to do anything else,” Pavlović told the “Absolut Fußball” portal from “Münchner Merkur/tz”.
Before the game against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday at 6.30 p.m., Pavlović remains unimpressed by the atmosphere and sees it as motivation. “It pushes me. Even as a child, I wasn’t afraid of anything that was going on on the pitch,” added the 21-year-old.
The defensive midfielder has improved his physical fitness through targeted muscle building and takes Cristiano Ronaldo as a role model. “I used to be short, skinny, an asparagus. I was also reserved. Now I dare to have a few jokes with the boys,” explained Pavlović, who has now played nine times for the national team.
With regard to the game against Dortmund, he emphasized the importance of concentration and the desire to increase the lead in the league. “Eleven points would be nice,” he said, underlining the high motivation in the team.
