“Today I woke up wanting to talk to court No. 2 of San Isidro. It would be very annoying if, after claiming food for four years, they finally take the corresponding measures so that my children receive their quota. I have been taking care of everything forever,” he posted Julieta Prandi in your personal X account.

On social networks, the model and actress demanded that the court update the alimony quota that her ex-husband Claudio Contardia gastronomic businessman to whom she was married and with whom she had two children, has been in debt for more than four years. Currently, Prandi’s ex-husband is detained and sentenced to 19 years in prison for sexual abuse with aggravated carnal access and gender violence.

For more than a decade, the host’s personal life was marked by a judicial conflict that transcended the media and social sphere. Prandi reported to her partner in 2021 before the UFI No. 4 of Escobar a series of abuses that dated back to the years between 2015 and 2018, describing a pattern of submission, family isolation and attacks within the marriage.

After years of a judicial process that lasted more than four years, on August 13, 2025, an Oral Criminal Court of Zárate-Campana handed down a sentence in the criminal case. Contardi was found guilty and received a sentence of almost two decades prisonwith an immediate arrest warrant. The verdict was announced at a hearing, and the businessman was removed from the court in handcuffs to begin serving his sentence.

The ruling was celebrated by Prandi’s defense as a significant step towards reparation for the damages suffered, while Contardi’s defense presented appeals, including requests for annulment of the sentence before the Court of Cassation, arguing alleged procedural irregularities that would affect due process. After the conviction, the businessman was housed in different penitentiary units, including transfers to maximum security units and special mechanisms, such as the wing for those convicted of sexual crimes.

At the beginning of this year, a well-known television actress once again put the issue of food quota for their children, publicly demanding that Contardi owes these payments from 2022 and that, despite the criminal conviction, the corresponding Family Court had not ordered effective measures to guarantee that basic right. Personally, beyond the judicial conflict with her ex-husband, Prandi has rebuilt her emotional life. Since 2020, she has been in a relationship with the musician Emanuel Ortega.

There are still questions about the evidence and the criminal conviction against Contardi. However, the file on the food quota, closely followed by the media and discussed within the framework of public policies on gender violence and the fulfillment of family obligations, represents a broader discussion about the mechanisms of the judicial system to guarantee rights even after a conviction.
