A motorist was injured this afternoon in an accident on the N34 near Ees. For unknown reasons, the car left the road, overturned and ended up in a meadow.
Ambulance personnel quickly arrived to remove the driver from the car. After he was stabilized, he was lifted over the ditch on a brand card towards the ambulance. The victim is rushed to the hospital. A second occupant in the car was not injured.
Due to the accident, the road was closed for some time for investigation.
