We check into the hotel in Madrid on Friday, February 20. The man at the counter asks if we are in Madrid for the first time. I shake my head no and my son nods yes: “We are going to Atletico Madrid-Espanyol tomorrow night,” says my son.
The man looks up somewhat disturbed and I immediately realize that this is a Real Madrid fan.
“I give you a room on the 10th Floor so you have a perfect view on the Bernabeu stadium”
