“Let’s burn the city down.”
The punk rock rapper mgk is currently on tour in Europe. On February 24, 2026, he stopped in Berlin and played at the Uber Arena. Before his concert on Tuesday evening, he surprised his fans with a personal appeal in his Instagram story.
With the words “Let’s burn the city down,” he announced a meeting – with clear rules: “black clothes, no photos, no private shots.” Many people followed his call; There were numerous posts circulating on Instagram from mgk supporters who excitedly set off to the meeting point at 3 p.m. in the Nest Skatepark in East Berlin.
Private meeting?
What this was all about became clear on Tuesday afternoon: The artist had invited his fans to a video shoot, as was later revealed in his Instagram story. You can see mgk in the middle of his fans – dancing, rapping. The people in the background, crowded together, rock to the beat, raise their arms in the air and try to catch a glimpse of the cameras. Most of the photos were taken under the Marggraf Bridge and on a staircase in the Nest Skatepark.
Official music video?
mgk has not yet announced exactly what the recordings will be used for. On social media it is said that it is the music video for “Track 14”. The song is still unreleased and is said to be part of mgk’s new album. Nevertheless, he already has it with him on his “Lost Americana Tour” – he is said to have already played excerpts of the track live in Bologna. Fans continue to speculate whether it could be a collaboration with Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst.
It is still unclear when the song will be released. mgk is still on tour across Europe – on March 2nd, 2026 he will play his last show in Germany in Cologne. Tickets are also available for purchase.
