The 41 volunteers move systematically through the area in groups, meter by meter. Thermal imaging cameras are used to detect any heat sources.
The searchers also carry prods to check areas of ground that are difficult to access. The volunteers also carry flashlights for extra visibility in densely vegetated areas.
Description of missing woman
75-year-old Trudy from Heiloo has been missing since last Saturday. According to the police, it is not known how she left and in what direction.
Trudy may be wearing a white long coat with a hood and sand-colored fur collar, a denim skirt and light-colored boots. She has medium length, gray curly hair and blue-gray eyes. She is about 1.75 meters tall and has a normal build.
