Oliver Kahn has been working as an expert for Sky since last summer. Now it is clear: He will remain with the station in this role in the future.

Oliver Kahn will also be in front of the camera for Sky in the coming season. The former national goalkeeper has been part of the pay-TV channel’s team of experts since summer 2025. He now announced that Kahn had extended his contract.

“I really enjoy analyzing the big football issues together with Riccardo Basile,” Kahn is quoted as saying in the Sky statement. The 56-year-old appears regularly on the show “Triple – the Hagedorn Football Talk,” which is broadcast on Thursdays during the Champions League weeks.

As an active professional, Kahn played between the posts for the German national team in 86 international matches between 1995 and 2006. In 1996 he became European champion with the DFB team, but was not used.

He again played a major role in the 2002 World Cup runner-up with strong performances, even though he made a crucial mistake in the final against Brazil. Kahn was subsequently voted the best player of the tournament as goalkeeper.

At club level, he spent most of his career at FC Bayern. With the Munich team, Kahn became German champion eight times, won the DFB Cup six times and the Champions League once. He later also served as chairman of his long-standing club.
