Shortly before the start of the Formula 1 season, Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli’s girlfriend made the separation official. She also addresses rumors – and clears them up.
Kimi Antonelli will have to do without special support on the Formula 1 track in the future. His girlfriend Eliska Babickova announced her separation from the 19-year-old on her Instagram profile.
“I was the one who ended the relationship because I felt like we were no longer on the same page in our personal lives and what we wanted for our future,” she explained the move. The couple had been together since 2023.
The influencer also made it clear that infidelity did not play a role in the separation. “I saw so much speculation and false narratives and news. There were no other men involved, no other women involved. There was no cheating.” These accusations would not do justice to the two of them or their relationship. In this context, the 20-year-old Czech woman even received death threats.
The couple tried to save the relationship in February, Babickova said. However, she now also made it clear that she would no longer comment on the separation in the future. Antonelli has not yet publicly reacted to the end of the relationship.
Next weekend, the Italian Mercedes driver will start his second season in the premier class of motorsport with the race in Australia. For Sky expert Ralf Schumacher, he is even the secret favorite for the World Cup title.
“He is simply extremely talented. If he maintains his learning pace from the second half of the season, he is the stronger man for me,” he told “Sport Bild” about Antonelli compared to Mercedes teammate George Russell.
