Why important: The artist is going on a world tour after the release of her debut album “Who’s the Clown” in August. The aspiring indie singer, known for personal lyrics about separations and self-doubt, is also stopping in Germany.

Why important: The rising indie artist was nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2026 and has managed to make a meteoric rise in the music world with songs like “back to friends” and “12 to 12.” Now he is on his “The Late Nights and Young Romance” tour and can be seen live in Berlin and Cologne.

Why important: Nils Keppel makes rough, intense, dark indie pop/punk with synthesizer elements. He is associated with the “Neue Neue Deutsche Welle”. His lyrics are about the dream of life, human fallibility and death. His live performances are minimalistic but thrilling, almost cathartic.

KIZ

Why important: Like every year, the band KIZ is holding its women’s concert for International Women’s Day on March 8th. Tickets are only available for women, cis women, inter* people and non-binary people who identify as female. The band has been using this concert format for years to take a stand against sexism and to create a space in which women can celebrate without harassment.

Why important: The British band is going on tour again to mark the 20th anniversary of the album “A Certain Trigger”. The band shook up the indie pop scene in the 2000s. Now they are bringing Art Brut on tour as special guests, who perfectly complement Maxïmo Park.

Why important: The Los Angeles artist is known for his genre-bending sound, mixing elements of jazz, funk, soul, R&B and electronica. His new album is announced for early April 2026, and some songs, e.g. B. “She Knows Too Much”, a posthumous collaboration with Mac Miller, has already been released. Hopefully he’ll tease a few more of his new songs on his tour in March.

Why important: The trio from London plays a mixture of post-punk and art rock. With their mysterious, melodramatic but cool atmosphere, they create a distant aura. Maybe that’s why a concert is the ideal opportunity to get closer to the band.

Danny Brown

Why important: Danny Brown’s music combines rap with hyperpop and is considered one of the most unique and eccentric rappers of recent years. His live performances resemble a kind of rap rave. After a long break due to alcohol withdrawal, the rapper is now making a new start. The tour is the beginning of a new era in which he performs his music with a clear head.
