The family business Voglia was founded in Lammi in 1983. KIMMO HAAPALA

The Finnish women’s clothing company Voglia has been declared bankrupt.

The district court of Kanta-Häme made a decision on bankruptcy on Wednesday. The matter appears from the insolvency register.

The company filed for bankruptcy last Wednesday. Voglia told about the cessation of operations in his Instagram post.

– The Finnish market has changed a lot over the last few years and the internationalization of Voglia would have been the next step in the future of our company.

– Internationalization would have required significant investments in the following years, for which we could not find a suitable financing solution, the company wrote.

Voglia made huge losses in the last three years. In 2024, the company’s turnover was 1.1 million euros. The result for the financial year was 536,000 euros at zero. In 2022, the company made a loss of EUR 679,000.

Voglia had brick-and-mortar stores in Helsinki, Turku and Tampere.
